Yes indeed it's a good outing for Lee in front of a home crowd as well. Shame for Macklin but from what i have seen of Garnica, McCloskey will have his hands full but it's what he needs after the Tontchev no show. Cuban Mike Perez is also on this bill interestingly enough, just one week after his debut in Cork.
Hopefully Perez gets a bit more of a test this week. After all the training and sparring that Perez put in for his Pro Debut I think its only right that he gets a bit more ring time after only getting 2 mins in the ring in Cork. Hopefully we ghet to see a bit more of Perez tonight and with this bill being televised and streamed by RTE, he will get a bit more publicity.
Should be a decent nights boxing, was hoping to travel over to the fights but due to the weather (snow and ice) I don't think I'll bother.
Should be a good night for Lee infront of a home crowd.

No it should be world wide. There was a restriction before that was UK and Ireland only but Im nearly sure since they upgraded the serviec that hasn't been in place.mattenglish wrote:i have been to the RTE website, and as far as i can see, it can only be seen in ireland...let me know if i am wrong!!!TY

I don't think that's so outrageous Manc given the scope such prospects have nowadays for a shot. I would give Lee a fair chance with say Sturm and an even money fight with Duddy who is challenging the number one soon. Plus in 9 months who knows how much better he could become.Manc_Red wrote:Steward saying Lee will be ready 4 a World-Title Shot in 9 months
Yeah Right
