The Walsh Brothers
The Walsh Brothers
These three lads were mentioned a bit in the press, three brother, including two twins, from Norfolk, with a massive following already- I'm sure that allegedly allegedly is keen to promote their careers- they are obviously a draw.
The first one stopped Daniel Thorpe in about 2 minutes, he squatted down, failing to beat the count.
The second had a good scrap with Delroy Spencer, stopped in round three (Delroy was furious with the referee).
The third won with a knockout in about 15 seconds!
So, a promicing start, all winning by knockouts .

I agree- I think Delroy was upset by it, too- he was livid with the ref at the stoppage, clerly mouthing " f-ing" this and that, and finished making a "wanker" gesture at the crowd.jonp wrote:I wasnt very impressed with the straw hat wearing fans who thought it was clever to make monkey noises at Del Spencer.
But yeah, this sort of chanting shouldn't be tolerated.

They seemed like decent lads when interviewed, hopefully they can have a word with those fans of theirs that did the monkey noises.whicker wrote:I agree- I think Delroy was upset by it, too- he was livid with the ref at the stoppage, clerly mouthing " f-ing" this and that, and finished making a "wanker" gesture at the crowd.jonp wrote:I wasnt very impressed with the straw hat wearing fans who thought it was clever to make monkey noises at Del Spencer.

Don't want to see or hear that type of thing at any event.

Well, it will be interesting to see how the get on- what weights are they? Super flyweight, Bantamweight and featherweight- should eb some potentially interesting domestic matchups for them. Lets hope they are given testing opponents, too. Preserving ONE unbeaten record is a little tricky, but preserving three....
Re: ..
Most people said how well they looked including me,but however if you want me to ignore monkey noises from the crowd and not comment on it im afraid i cant do that it realy took the shine of it for me.Youl notice as well a lot of different people noticed it including the boxer himself.Ray wrote:I don't understand why people have to get upset and make up stuff when three boys smashed it! its just nipping it in the bud, before they get bigger publicity , and papers pick up on it.Ray wrote:I don't understand why people have to get upset and make up stuff when three boys smashed it! Just to let you know that there were followers in the same croud of that ethnic origin, Nuff Said!!!

I'm sure all 3 boys wouldn't want their supporters detracting from what they do in the ring.
