Well, N'Gou ain't gonna make it.

Mark Potter's African heavyweight Augutsine N'Gou outpointed gutsy Dave Clarke over six twos on the big Wembley bill tonight.
Clarke has been stopped several times in a record of 4-21, so it wasn't the greatest of starts in this country for giant N'Gou, who has a record of 21-1 (19).

Matt Skelton stopped Clarke in the first round, to put things in context. Clarke thus becomes only the second of N'Gou's 21 beaten opponents to have gone the distance with him.

I had a good look at his record when I first heard FW had signed him....a lot of em hadn't even got a win! I suppose his size might cause a few problems for a few of the domestic heavies but he won't go on and win a world title going on tonights performance!!

Oh, I forgot he was fighting tonight. Greyminus just mentioned it on the Tak thread and I checked the channels looking for that "Hard Man" series. I thought he meant he'd been floored in that.

I'm not sure if Tak can pull this one out.

The final round will end in about ... 30 seconds.

Dirt told us that Tak was unhappy going into this fight. He had been expecting to defend his WBU title and then came the sudden switch to an eight-rounder against the tough Monteiro. But if Tak loses this, he can throw his genuine 'world' title aspirations out the window.

Kev Mitchell wins in the first round again. It looks great to the more uneducated punter, but we all know he ain't gonna learn from knockover jobs like these.

You are correct, Bennie. I still cannot believe that Warren fed him Vlado Varhegi.

As a records expert, Greyminus, you will know what happens at the end of a run of quick knockout wins for a fighter. I call it the Sammy Nesmith syndrome.
