I put my money where my mouth is...

I played the bookie and offered odds of 2/1 on Danny Williams on John Shep's fightbetting exchange (fightbetting.com). Several punters went for it, and I'm a wee bit better off tonight.
I knew Danny Williams was over the hill.

Good call mate, Sprott really surprised me. And so did Danny - what was the Ali impression for? He was just inviting disaster with his hands down like that..close fight but I'm pleased for Sprott who deserves a few breaks.

It was just a bit of fun really. I think sometimes you have to go with what you've learned down the years, and Danny's recent struggles indicated a fading force. Ironically, he looked quite good at times against Sprotty, but threw the fight away with showboating and poor workrate.

Ian Darke made me laugh out loud when he mentioned something about "synchronized facepulling"
