the bronx bull seems to be going strong from his last visit to briton. how do you think jake would have fared against todays fighters, jones, hopkins, trinadad, calazage, think sugar shane would have took him on like the real sugar ray

hmm a good question...ill be brief in my opinions

i pick jones with a mid-late tko win, too much speed and power when he was at 160

hopkins i assume you mean in the years of 35-36 as his 'prime' i go with hopkins out pointing to win on decision

trinidad this would be a war, think vargas and tito at 160...or even 154, i think trinidad would come out on top in this one but no doubt lamatta could win just as easily

lamatta with a kayo win over calzaghe, assuming you take joe as he is now and place him against a great, gotta favor jake big time here

as for sugar and jake meeting at 154 which i think would be the most interesting for these two i go with shane over the distance, i have no idea if shane can carry his power up or if it would be lossed like for oscar, though rumor has it he carries it up, but until i see it i remain a skeptic. in any case this is a fight lamatta cant win.

Jones boxes him silly. Jake is lucky to land anything and whatever he does land Roy could take as Jake was no big puncher.

Hopkins scores a decision over Jake.

Trinidad gets beaten.

Mosely gets beaten(too small even for welter, let alone middle).
