My ass was that the worst decision. Williams did fornicate all for half the bout. A draw might have been fair, a round or two to either man either way was fine in my book.
I heard the show for the 1st time last night it was pretty good to hear boxing on Radio, do they do a 1 hour boxing show every Monday night or is this just a one off?

You're thinking of 'Fighting Talk', it's not a boxing show though, it's a few sports personalities talking about current sporting affairs and being awarded points for what they say.
It is actually very funny though, Steve Bunce is quite often on it and is pretty good talking about others sports too.

The fight could have gone either way. Williams was meant to be the champion, but he didnt fight like one.
What was all that Williams said in the dressing room before the fight that he was gonna jump on Sprott and take him out in three rounds.
Also, Jim McDonnell has a responsibility to ensure that his fighter is 100% prepared physically and mentally.
At 263lbs I dont think McDonnell has done his job.
The show didn't turn out as bad as i expected, interviews with Emmanuel Steward, Howard Eastman and Roy Jones manager were interesting and the panel were not to bad. Frank Maloney always gives me the impression he has a chip on his shoulders but he was okay none the less, John Rawling talks a lot of sense while Colin Hart lost credibility when he claimed Joe Mesi would beat Audley Harrison and he seemed to strive to be controversial throughout.
Overall was 45 minutes too much for the BBC to give to Boxing? I don't think so, so let's please have some more!
what other subjects cropped up apart from the williams-sprott issue???
