Better Than Ward-Gatti?

Did anyone else catch the Omar Sheika-Scott Pemberton II fight on Channel 5 at 3 o'clockish Sunday morning? I think it was better than any of the Ward-Gatti fights, the fourth round was awesome. Sheika put Pemberton down twice but Sheika was eventually finished in the Eleventh, the fight was all action and headshots and two total warriors battling it out. I think it was one of the best fights i have ever seen, up there in my book with Hagler-Hearns and Barrera-Morales I for shear raw grit and destruction. A classic fight.

Both fights were top draw but the second was the better fight for me..

Sheika is becoming a bit of a yardstick for upcoming talent at the moment.

Did anyone else notice what an enormous SM Pemberton was, he looked more like a bloody cruiserweight, he was in fantastic shape for a fighter his age too.

I'd say the first fight was better, Sheika was strong right to the end.

Not sure what happened this time, Omar was struggling with the pace from about round 3. Pemberton was great though, much more intelligent.

I'd much rather see Pemberton against Calzaghe than this Mgerchian whatever is name is, even if he did lose to Brewer.

I taped it last night and haven't seen it yet......can't wait now!!!

Isn't Pemberton about 36/37? 2 wars in a row and I hope HBO or showtime pick him up and offer big $$$

Hmm... Pemberton's accuracy seemed a little off although his stamina was very good. Sheika had stamina problems and his balance was a little off.

Both left themselves open at times.

Can't really see either of these two causing problems for Calzaghe.
