Chambers would be proud of me!
I'll be running the show after this week when Montiel beats Castillo

Firstly, great app. This is the only game I play on Facebook!fvoin wrote:Hey all, I'd like to thank you for using my BoxPicks app!
It would be great to get feedback on this app, to help improve it. Feel free to post any bug reports and feature requests or suggestions here.
Could you have a look at a create you own league function. Also, could you allow the league table to include points that you've included in bets that havene't happened yet, as when I place a large bet I fall out of the top 10.
Thanks

price has only had 3 bets winng a shed load on one fight, i think thats the strategy im going to go with from now on
So you mean users can create their own leagues and other people can join them and also there's a top10 among league' users?Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote: Firstly, great app. This is the only game I play on Facebook!

Concerning your second suggestion - I've also thought about that, so without further hesitation i've just implemented it :)
BTW recently i've added a feature that when you click the user's name in top10 you are redirected to this user's details page (just in case someone didn't know it).

That would be correct sir.fvoin wrote:

I'm wondering whether a cup competition would work (they do it on my Fantasy Football League), but I don't think it will.
If you want to make the betting on decisions more complicated, JCS on Current Scene has a really useful system for the PTBF he runs where you have 3 types of decision:
Close
Wide
Dominant
Let me know if you think this is a good idea and I'll explain more.
You could also make the knockout betting more complicated by allowing people to bet on the exact round of the KO, to increase the odds.
Also, when betting it would be good if you could edit the number box, as the slide rule is great for a rough guess but when you want to bet, say, 199 points, you have to get the slide just right which can take a while.
God, I love BoxPicks
Cheers that's loads betterfvoin wrote:Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote: Firstly, great app. This is the only game I play on Facebook!

Thats the link to my home page, the application is about halfway down the left handside. I imagine you should be able to click on it and add the app

I scored 46 on Dr. Phil's personality test
Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who will always cheer them up and help them out.

On a side note, does anyone know about privacy policy on facebook, with regards to large companies being able to view pages of potential employees?
I remember reading about some "social networking" sites sharing information with large corporations and even allowing them to view pages of people who've applied for jobs...
am in the process of applying for jobs within a couple of large companies, and thinking about cleaning my page up a bit...
