Never mind all this Hatton Witter rubbish now, and why we're again picking the Judah-Witter figth apart is beyond me.

What I want to say is that we rave on about the state of British boxing, but look at this card on here!!!

Wrong again!

Witter had already beaten a fighter well above domestic level in Bergman, so you can't sit there and state that Witter was only domestic class.

Bergman was then beaten 4 fights later by the new 'Pernell Whittaker' (lol at that) - Zab was not perceived to be any higher at all, apart from in the imagination of gangsta wannabees :TU:

Tony has made a very good point actually, and no amount of gloss from Witter nut huggers changes the facts :)

Totally agree, they just bang on about Witter because they hate Ricky Hatton, having no idea of Witter's fornicating career and having never been to watch the boring pudendum.

He won a maximum two rounds against Zab Judah because he was a fanny. He was not a novice. He was into his twenties and given a golden oportunity. He bottled it.

Now he needs the cash because his career has been a non-event and he is calling out one of our best weeks after he has just been knocked out.

Give me a break.

Was the Bergman a 10 or 12 round contest?
No - it was not!

Good win by Witter - but ha it been scheduled for 10 or 12, who knows if he would have won. I think he would have BASED N HIS PERFORMANCE against Zab - but would not have thought so until then!

Zab was perceived to be higher than Witter - anyone can see that.

You been smoking that crap again?

Witter took the fight and WE KNOW HATTON WOLD NOT EVEN NOW!

Being in your 20's has nothing to do with it, its about career progression.

Naz was world champ at 21? - Johnny Nelson???? - its about career experience.

Anyway, how can a Gay Pirate lecture anyone on Boxing?

Captain Hook? - wtf!

The only slight excuse they may have is that he had only 17 previous fights as opposed to Zab who’d had 23 previous.

Witter had been a pro 3yrs and 5mths.
Judah had been pro about 4ths longer.

Witter was 26yrs old.
Judah was 22yrs old.

Both guys were scheduled to fight – so the late notice change would have affected Zab worse than Witter I’d think. Because wasn’t he supposed to be fighting an orthodox type fighter? .. not an unorthodox switch-hitter.

Watching the fight again - it’s the same Junior Witter of today, I didn’t see anything he left out when fighting Judah that he does now.
Its not about age or amount of fights. Its about what you have faced in your career. Witter fought for the WORLD TITLE on short notice

HOW DO YOU THINK HATTON WOULD HAVE DONE ON THE SAME NIGHT?

The Hatton arse brigade would say he would have won!

Thaxton have Hatton hell, Judah would have knocked Hatton OUT.

Or is it a come-on?

If I'm seen to be arguing with you, people might get the idea that this debate is a two-way thing, rather than one man with a valid point and another masturbating in a dark room with a photo of Junior Witter sellotaped to his leg.

Mayweather was perceived to be 'higher' than Hatton but it hasn't stopped you creaming yourself about PBFs win for the past 2 months.

And at least Hatton had a go....

Goz, everyone with any knowledge of Boxing KNEW that PBF was going to batter Hatton, it was Hattons money fight!

Mayweather was not only PERCEIVED to be higher than HATTON - he IS!

I laugh at the idiots who bought into the Hatton MYTH that he is some kind of Roberto Duran pressure fighter.

Hatton had a go? Hatton ONLY HAS ONE WAY TO FIGHT!

Had a go? - for $20M he should have a GO!

PLUS HATTONS BULLSHIT TAKES THE PISS OUT OF EVEN HIS DIE-HARD FANS!

As for Captain HOOK. Have you even watched the Witter fight?

You guys KNOW HATTON IS A BULLSHITTER!

Witter is the Champion, fight him.

You sheep shaggers have such a way with words.

You know nothing about boxing, mate.

I do not argue with the likes of you, I just explain to you the finer points of the sport in an attempt to open your eyes to what is glaringly obvious.

Witters Career a Non event?

British( Lonsdale Belt Outright)
Commonwealth
European
WBC World Champion.

Non-event?

Apart from KT - ALL HATTONS BELTS were against weak PAPER CHAMPS.

I rate conquering your continent and then the world they way to go and far better than 177 WBU Title defences!

Its all about opinions .. right or wrong - we no doubt believe what we write here.
If you don`t agree with somebodies opinion them try to argue it in a commonsensical fashion ..

DG - aren`t you the same person who helped Doghouse go down the drain with your brainless remarks and insults?

Goz, do not be so daft, I made many a popular thread!

And if you knew anything then you would know the reason for the mass exodus is due to the excessive ads and (some say) virus loaded pop ups.

You take yourself far to seriously!

My threads seem to get the people talking, regardless of the content - it is good to debate!

Insults? - moi?

Why dont you Ginger Chambers and Captain HOok get a room?

Lovin that!!!!

I think we are all agreed Hatton and Witter should fight - my take is that Hatton deserves praise and maybe a gimme fight before it happens.

As I started this can I be the one to finish it

If you could arrange for it to be locked, that would be super-cool.

We need to collectively move on and have a group hug.

It's getting boring.

In conclusion, Hatton shouldn't be called childish names as he's been very good for British Boxing, but he should be fighting Junior asap for the sake of British Boxing and its fans and to continue British Boxings remarkable past year. If he doesn't it will and should affect his overall legacy.
