Any news on Reid vs Ottke?

Reid appealed against the decision and demanded a rematch does anyone know what the situation is re this?

Well they say no news is good news, but in this case i very much doubt that. I would be very surprised if Reid gets a rematch, if Ottke fights again then he will be searching for a mega fight i would think.

ok so noone knows the outcome but does anyone know ANYTHING about what is happening with the appeal- ie did the WBA actually GET the appeal, did they ACKNOWLEDGE the appeal, has Ottke REALISED Reid has appealed.

I THOUGHT REID WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE OUTCOME BY NOW????

they said january 22nd, no????

Has this appeal just been hushed up, bribes offered, and say no more about it sort of thing?

what do people think.

Without knowing anything about it its my guess that they will deal with it under the WBA convention this weekend

According to the Liverpool Echo, Reid's appeal hearing has been delayed until later this week (Thursday, January 30).
