Correct me if I'm wrong, but I pretty sure Tony Doherty is in the pic on the pads with Enzo? Is Enzo now Tony's trainer? If so, then I reckon it's a good thing for Doherty & Enzo will imprve him as a fighter.
The pics display what we already know about Enzo - that he's a hard takemaster & works his fighters hard. In one of the pics, Enzo even gets a stick out in order to make the guys run up & down the steps.
Gotta love the dedication shown by Enzo, let alone the fighters themselves!

THat's definitely Tony Doherty - and certainly not 'Gary Lokett' as claimed.
I have to say - what a great gym. NO third space flashy environment here. Spit, sawdust and blood.
I like the way it's just there - a shitty building on its own.

don't forget the burger van round the corner - class. B*ll*cks to the tea get me a bacon butty with butter and loads of ketchup!
I am sure when Enzo Calzaghe took on Maccarinelli he said he doesn't usually take on other trainers fighters but only deals with kids he has built up from scratch. Now he has taken on Doherty and previously Lockett, both from Brian Hughes so what was the comment all about if it isn't true?
Could clearly see potential in the mentioned fighters. Macce had some glaring flaws, Locket had gone off the boil and Docherty hasnt fulfilled potential, at all! I still think Doc could make light welter, always looked fleshy at Welter to me. His loss to mcintyre doesnt look too bad now either.
