Very true, its not impossible for a black man to get accepted to Oxford, but for one with 'only' 7 GCSEs/O levels to get accepted would be a near miracle mate 8)Southpaw Stylist wrote:Why? Had a shit load of problems a year or two back with funding - essentially had to leave it on standstill for a year, modify slightly and re-apply.
If there wasn't so many issues like that and rediculous costs... tuition fees are absolutely rediculous for the amount of tutoring I have - then I would have finished yonks ago. Now though, still think I will be at it for another 2 years. So many sub commitee's etc its got to pass (like ethics etc) even though I know there are no major ethical considerations - its still got to go through the rigmarol, and they usually take a month.
But at least now I have some data and the model is starting to form.
Ontop of that.... I have just been informed due to changes within the British Psychological Society - I have just been informed that in order to be a practising Sport Psychologist with a proffesional club (I do some voluntary.... well combining with coaching.... for an amateur club) I'm going to have to do another Masters. Even though I'll have a PhD in a Sports Psychology area, with a sports psychology research project. Becuase my official title will be PhD in Psychology, I'll need an Msc in Sport Psychology (my Msc is in Sport Science, my Bsc is in Sport Psychology). So cannot say I am too happy with that news. Just trying to weed out more money out of people.
