The biggest one I have ever seen happend today live on Eurosport.

A guy with 1 win in 43 fights (nope - the win was on the distance) just clean flattend a 7-7 fighter in I think it was the 2nd round.

Not only was it the shock of shocks.... it is possibly the KO of the year. It was a beauty.

Holdsworth saying that the 7-7 fighter should definately retire was a bit much. It was a complete and utter bolt from the blue that would have KO'd many fighters.

The result isn't up - but this was the fighters.... what a punch.

Thats the whole point Captn - the Kalambay dismisal was an abberation that went against Nunn's career form lines as a relative light hitter.

general consensus around the sport before the kalambay fight bears terry's point out ("powder puff" goes too far). personally i felt he was more dangerous than that but certainly no KO king.

Nunn was just very lazy with his punches usually.

His uppercuts were brutal.When he bothered to work the body he destroyed fighters with them.Tate, Roldan, Watts, Parker(one punch KO) and Crawford ashley come to mind as good examples.

Nunn's lack of zip on his shots probably was more to do with his fleet footed, hand churning style; I for one had no time for him, or his style, whatsoever.

I dont think I have ever been so glad to see a single shot land as I was the night Toney's left hook stuck the oh-so-dull Nunn on his arse.
