Funny that you should have added a bunch of Midget Smith bouts recently. Only Saturday I came across a contemporary newspaper article that says his bout in Salt Lake City was June 1, 1925 (not June 2 - it was reported in the June 2nd edition of the paper), and that his opponent was Fighting Bob Cervantes of Denver. Can we get some confirmation as to the details of this bout?

Ric - My entries come from the RRB 1941 (where errors seem to abound - nevertheless it is a good starting point). I am willing to accept your version. The RRBs frequently are a day out because they oviously take the date from the newspaper they are reading when the fight was the night before. Hence June 1 becomes June 2. A 'handle' like Fighting Bob is not something some one would guess at.
