Looks like Hatton has an opponent, Juan Lazcano, and the fight is in the UK. Lazcano has losses to Harris and Castillo. Dont think I will buy the PPV.

BoxRec schedule is as reliable as Liverpool in the FA Cup.

He told Terry D yesterday it's down to Lazcano, Holt or Torres. I believe Holt is already scheduled to fight, but might be wrong.

I say now I wont buy it on PPV, however, I just know that nearer the time the lads who are casual boxing fans will arrange for everyone to go to one house to watch the fight and make a night of it - does that count as me buying the ppv?

Anyway, good gimmie contest, and it could be entertaining, but not a PPV fight. Actualy, would Sky even be interested, or will setanta pick it up?

Lacanzo was pencilled in before he fought Collazo. Think he got injured and had to pull out.

I'd consider paying to see a Torres fight, but the other two no fornicating chance. The Hatton's have done quite enough fleecing for a while!

i wouldnt even stay up till 3am to watch it never mind pay for the privalage

It wont eb a 3am -er will it? Also, casual fans dont see the form we see. they'll see tough Mexican and former champion Juan Lazcano. Also, expect Adam Smith in the build up to put his serious / sinister voice on and say "A man who hasnt been stopped in 10 years"

He still has one fight left on his HBO contract, so I would expect 2am malarky.

I thought his contract expired with the Mayweather fight? I know they've been in negotiations regarding a new one.

How can Hatton say he only wants the best and then settle for Lazcano? Okay he has just fought the p4p best fighter but he shouldn't say these things if we then get lumped with this. It's a foregone conclusion. Boxing is meant to be a competitive sport. With only a few fights left in his career you would think he would be stamping his authority on the light welterweight division.

Note: I'm not even a Hatton hater, i'm a big fan.

It's easy to see why boxing fans are getting turned off Hatton when you read some of his lawyers quotes in that link

Lazcano I believe is fine for a comeback fight, but at a decent time and no PPV. Also is a perfect style for Ricky

In all my days etc.. what a load of pony. The Hatton camp are deluding the US tv execs about his ongoing popularity. He's nowhere near as interesting now.

He now has a very clear ceiling, wont be around long and just doesnt get the juices flowing anymore.

I want to see Hatton vs Witter, and I'm not interested in any other Hatton fight, why would we be now????. And as it stands, I'm asking myself why I would want to see Witter lose and its tough to find an answer.
