Let's say you have a wondrous time machine, but it can only whisk Boxers from one time to another. I'll start:
1) You guessed it...Tyson '88 Vs Ali '67;
2) Foreman 68-74 Vs Lennox 92-02;
3) Saddler '40 Vs Hamed '95/Pacquaio '03;
4) Eubank '91 Vs ...? Can't think of a fellow maverick @ 168 from across time...
Over to you good gentlemen!
Sexiest cross-era matchups (can include current fighters)?

Foreman wasn't pro in 1968. I'm not sure what you're asking, in any case --- are you saying those are the fighters' prime years (as appears to be the case with Ali & Tyson)? But there is a hell of a difference between the Lewis in 1992 & 2002, as there is between Foreman 1969 (his pro debut) & 1974.

The thread title gives this away.Goodnight, Irene wrote:Foreman wasn't pro in 1968. I'm not sure what you're asking, in any case
Not to the year, this is open to interpretation. But general ball-park.--- are you saying those are the fighters' prime years (as appears to be the case with Ali & Tyson)?
I'll give you that, so you can use 1974 if you wish. Lennox had a very long peak IMO, although yes, he went from being a fast, hard puncher to a slower, harder puncher in that decade.But there is a hell of a difference between the Lewis in 1992 & 2002, as there is between Foreman 1969 (his pro debut) & 1974.
