ANYONE SEEN GAMBOA?

Just saw on Gamboa that the Cuban superstar-in-waiting has secured another impressive victory, winning the NABF Super-Feather title in 96 seconds against a half-decent opponent. Think that makes it nine wins, eight by stoppage.
He sounds amazing but I haven't seen any footage of him yet. Has anyone who's seen him got an opinion on how far he'll go?

There are lots of videos of him on YouTube. No reason to not have had a look - and yes, he is very much the real deal.

Old Bones Ian brought his pro exploits to my attention a month or two back - Gamboa is like grease lightning and is cocky as hell.

A world class fighter already, depite only a handful of pro fights.

Gamboa absolutely starched a boy last night in the first round. I watched it on ESPN Friday Night Fights. Couldn't really tell much apart from that his timing is good and his power is for real.

bullshit call by the ref imo , it wasn't a knockdown and was to do with Gamboa being pushed over while off-balance .

Is he going to be a Feather or Superfeather? He was 128.5 for this one and has fougth at Feather before.

He's now got the NABF 130 title and is number 5 for the WBA belt, so guess 130 is his home now.

In today's environment, when boxers are pushed at a sloths pace, that's pretty impressive!

He's fighting again in mid April.

Just watched it on channel 5. Sweet Jesus, that's the biggest 130 pound (128.5 to be precise) fighter I've ever seen. And only 9 pro fights.

This lad might just be the Floyd replacement we've been looking for in years to come.

Don't know about being the new Mayweather, he looks and fights like Cotto to me.
He looks a big talent, Jose Rojas is his next opponent , he just went the distance with Chris John for the Featherweight title, so should be able to put up some resistence.

That's how Floyd used to fight at 130, but not as bluntly. He's more of a Floyd/Pac-man (pre Roach) hybrid.

Brings back memories of the good old days. When Wizzers were a penny and you could play outside until it got dark.

Gamboa is the best prospect in world boxing today by MILES.

I would put him in with Alex Arthur today. Gamboa would crush him.
