Injin Chi now fighting K1

Post by bigped »

Think its quite sad that a world champ (wbc)has had to defecit from the sport he loves because he isnt earning any money,. heard he was earning buttons for world title fights, he gave us two great fights with brodie anyway and would have loved to have seen him in with scott harrison.

He won his debut anyway heres the clips.

Now that's mental!!

a top fighter like that having to learn an entirely new discipline just to earn a crust.

speaks complete volumes about boxing tbh.

It says more about having to market yourself as a fighter, than what it says about boxing imo.

There is still money to be had so long as you can convince people you're worth watching. That's how it is, and that's how it always will be in capitalist society.

thanks Bigped I nearly fell off me seat when I read SS's response. F*ck me, say what you want about Wlad Klitschko and Audley Harrison and whoever else but Chi FFS brought it all to the table.
I suspect he was on peanuts cos no f*cker wanted any piece of him, none of the name fighters anyroad.

A loss to boxing indeed.

Also shows how the sport does lack true integrity really - Chi was good, he should have got the fights.
