as regards buying into Witter after KO-ing Harris. Personally I consider 15 KO wins on the spin worthy of a shot myself.

I doubt Hatton could have taken on Judah at 5 minutes notice and gone 12 rounds even if it was a bore fest. Yeah only cos the then super-hot Judah couldn't do owt with him. He'd have KO'd Hatton a-la- Mayweather. In fact Hatton would never have been able to burn the pies off with the amount of notice Witter had!
I guess the argument could be made for quality rather than quantity in regard to the 15ko`s .. we all should know that

And the old chestnut of taking the Judah fight at short notice  ... facts are both were scheduled to fight different opponents ... both at the last moment agreed to fight the other ... sadly come fight time one Judah tried to make it a fight

As I`ve said many times on this subject ... the change of opponent would have affected Zab more than Junior ... he was much younger and was scheduled to face a very orthodox fighter.

And maybe Zab would have KO`ed Hatton .. but it would have been some fight whilst it lasted  ... sadly thats why Witter is in the position he is in .. if he`s up against it he back peddles his way to the finish .. maybe effective .. though only in a Klitchko type fashion :(

If somehow HATTON stepped in to fight Judah at 2 weeks notice, you would praise him for lasting the disrtance ( which he would n't) WITTER stepped in with the WORLD CHAMPION and won a few rounds - made and Judah look ordinary.

Re: it being some fight while it lasted - HATTON WOULD NOT FIGHT JUDAH now no matter how much notice he had!
I would rather back pedal than get ktfo and headbutt a ring post.

Boxing is about BRAINS as well as Brawn!

Hatton is too dumb to fight any way other than FORWARD, educated pressure my arse!

ALSO REMEMBER JUDAH WAS A KNOWN PUNCHER WTH GREAT SPEED.

damn it, I come onto this thread again hoping that someone has some news on Witter's next opponent and it's the same old people harping on about Hatton again.

I'm more of a Witter fan than Hatton but jesus let it go. Your whinging is only making this site a more boring place to visit. Hatton won't fight Witter, how many times does it really need to be repeated?

Concerned that HBO refused Ngoudjo, not sure how Witter could come up with a better opponent at this notice. No one really wants to see him against N"Dou again but Bailey could have been fun whilst it lasted

Did you actually watch the fight? Witter won 5 rounds on my card, it was close and he had Judah punching air all night. Witter was not nearly as negative as you make out and was certainly not as negative Delahoya was in the final 3rounds against Trinidad. Judah was a fighter with a much better engine back then and certainly threw much more, but allot of it he didnt land. Witter wasn't as strong or as composed back then and hadn't transformed into the 'hitter' he is today

I was very suprised having watched the fight how different it was to everyone on here claims

Witter did well in the Judah fight!

AS FOR PEOPLE GOING ON and on about Hatton fighting WITTER, a lot of it is due to FATBOY SLIM (Hatton) always dangling the fight, late - next - in me contract - get a belt etc!

Scab boy should just come and and say it 'I WILL NEVER FIGHT WITTER' then we can all just say, fornicate you Hatton and move on.

Witter Witter!

Does not sound good for Witter.

Hopkins may regret not taking his chance.

Pathetic!
Hopefully Hennessey can get him a UK fight to keep him sharp.

Castillo has been the number 1 since October last year, yet they insist on another mandatory fight to generate more money.

Bad luck for Witter!

When will this guy get a break?
When he plays against Birmingham probably.

One more round for Witter and you would have made this fight a draw?

You're as bad as an Irishman talking about John Duddy.
