Ric you entered a D 15 Tom Heeney and Colin Bell for 15/1/1922 with exact date and location unknown. I have Colin Bell's record from an old Australian fight book (really a fore-runner of RRB in it's style). It gives three fights against Heeney which I will enter. The D 15 was in 1921 in New Zealand. I presume this is your bout or does your source suggest another ?.

Colin, sometimes when doing newspaper research, as you know, we will come across an article that may say something along the lines of "The last time these two met a few months ago, Smith lost in 15 rounds." So, I will insert that bout even though that is all the info I have in the hopes that someone (like you:D) will come along and fill in the missing pieces. Thanks. Ric

Colin. I read your original message and posted my reply while I took a moment off at the office. When I got home and looked up my newspaper source, I remembered where I got those Heeney's bouts. It was a July 24, 1928 newspaper article hyping his forthcoming title bout with Gene Tunney. The article provided a nice profile photograph of Heeney, gave all of his measurements (including neck size, chest size, etc.), then listed his record from 1921 through early 1928. But it merely listed the year of each bout (no precise date or location), the name of the opponent and the outcome (W,KO,D,L), with no round numbers. So I entered these bouts although I did not have exact dates, locations or round numbers. Ric
