Got a couple of questions for ya.

Who was the boxer (or ex boxer) on QOS recently who failed to identify Kostya Tszyu in a picture? An Australian woman at work informed me today of his blunder and said she was most unimpressed. From her description it sounds like it might be Spencer Oliver, although is he really a big enough name to have on that show? Maybe, but it's not like he doesn't keep up with the game is it. Was it someone else?

And I was watching that shite Hardman show last night and wondered if it was the same thing Takaloo took part in, if so how did he do? I can't imagine he'd be too shit-hot at stopping a car rolling down a ramp, or pulling a 1-ton chain across the ground.

C'mon tv geeks, update me.

Takaloo did take part in the Hardman contest and did shite i dont think he was expecting it to be the way it was...

A mate off mine is on it soon and he is a fairly hard fornicator but not britains hardest by a bloody long way...

The first episode last week was full of knobs I couldnt believe they had the cheek to go in for it...

There was a right cocky little idiot called tin tin on it.....Old leighton should have put one on him IMO...

Anyway shows a lot of shite but there you are mate...

QOS...dont watch it so someone else can answer that one.

Cheers HH. One of the fellas on the show last night looked like a friggin student. It's pretty hard to maintain interest in it after watching the great Marius Pudzianowski piss all over his rivals for the second year running.

I know im only watching it cos a mates on it and i want to see how he will do....going on the geezers so far he would piss the fighting part at the end but that aint saying much.....The hardest man in britain wouldnt even go on that bloody show...

in an anything goes fight there are only a few people who I won fancy for this title:

Lennox (for obvious reasons)
Ian Freeman (UK UFC competitor)
Lee Murray (Uk UFC competitor)
James Zikic (Uk UFC competitor)
Tengiz Tedoradze (Ex soviet wrestler, junior world champ based in Barnsley)

These guys have proven fights skills and dont get knackered after 2 minutes like the big juice heads people normally associate with Britains Hardest.

Does anyone remember a boxer named Andreas Panayi? He did quite well as a pro, despite a style that consisted of attempting to club opponents into submission. He once bust the jaw of Ross Hale.

I got disqualified from 'Britains Hardest Man' once, all was going well untill they found out I'd downed a full bottle of Viagra 15 minutes prior to the start of the contest.

The last time I saw Andreas Panayi was when he suffered a very premature stoppage loss at the hands of 4-fight novice Junior Witter in a highly comical match up.

It was an impressive burst of punches Witter threw to trap Panayi on the ropes (once Junior had stopped running all over the ring that is) but it didn't justify the intervention.

You could see back then though that Witter had natural ability absolutely dripping off him, if bugger all punching power at the time.

How do you know Lee Murray?

I used to knock about with him and its his best mate Paul Allen who is on Britains hardest man!

They are both from round my way....Both can have a row but there are plenty of harder people in London let alone Britain mate...

I dunno mate, Ian Freeman is a right handfull, awesome fighter - but the likes of Roy Shaw and Lenny Mclean were certainly boys not to be messed with. Someone like Ian Freeman, despite being smaller, would tie them in knots though, and not even think about trying to stand and trade with them. I'd expect a pretty quick victory for anyone with good groundwork skills.

I know Lee Murray from when he used to train down at the peacock with Dexter. Not really a friend of his just say hello when we see each other.

Murray would be a handful for anyone... Not sure there are many in London who could take him....

I grew up with him he is a few years younger than me though and he is a bit of a handful and involved in all sorts but believe me there is bigger and better out there,there always is.

As for Juice,Lee was bang on the juice hard!! Im not sure about in the last year but before that he was hitting the roids big time.

Really? I've never seen either in the flesh, but I've always imagined Freeman to be about 14-15 stone, and Shaw to be 16-17!

Hmmm not exactly sure myself... I see Roy at boxing shows quite often and he is probably 14 stone. Freeman about 16, Lenny about 18 ston

He does a lot of UFC/Pride/MMA fights. I guy i used to work with on the door fought him about 5 years ago in a MMA fight. Freeman nearly snapped his leg in about 30 secs, and this lad was one hell of a hard bastard himself.
