Hey do you reckon it's safe to advertise this "meet" like this? We ought to be on the look out for a bald guy carrying a hand grenade.

Hmmm.

This is trickier than i thought. I've just strolled around the Griffin and i realised that i have no idea what a bunch of internet boxing geeks look like.

No-one as tall as HH.

I've seen a photo of Eddie. He's not there.

I'll try again but there's only so many times i can eye up all the guys in the bar until something bad happens...

I'll get a beer and keep my eyes open...

Just in case has better luck than me. I'm wearing black jeans and a black sweater with a white shirt underneath and can pretty much guarantee that i will have the longest dreds in the place.

It must have been a good night, because they would usually have replied to these posts by now. They must still be in bed.

Hardhitters and Eddie got arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting Doyley on their night out.

What started as a joke turned serious when they took him down a back alley and proceeded to ''fondle his schlong", Doyley was angered and reported them to the police.

As of yet the police have still not let them go!!

The story is false, but Kilburn and Mighty Warrior did end up fighting over a transexual barmaid called Hayley!!

Apparently, it was poor fare. They're lined up to fight Kevin Mitchell in the next couple of months.

Interesting night!
Got there and found Hardhitters, knockout artist, Eddie, Doyley and Kilburn there, then Goz turned up clutching a Metro with a big picture of Audley on it - so we'd recognise him!
A good few drinks were had, and then some more.
I had a chat with knockout artist about his fighting days, and meeting John Mugabi - and who would've won out of Iron Mike and Holmes!
Kilburn stuck by Holyfield, Goz went for Lewis...

John Shep turned up too, with a couple of his matchmakers, in town for Williams fight tonight.

I think we better organise another one - maybe at a boxing pub or fight night next time...

Going out again now - my head is suffering badly

Don't forget about Chief showing up later on MW!

I reckon that was the quickest 5 hours I've spent in a pub, normally I'm approaching jiggered by 11pm but on this occasion I was just getting warmed up! Lets just say there was probably a lot more talking than listening going off in there...

Kilburn and myself were the last 2 standing at closing time when all others had fallen by the wayside

Although I was late......

Felt like crap the next day, most of my drinking that night was done on an empty stomach, when I made it back to Pinner the kebab shop was still open and I stuffed a large Doner down my throat (which I haven't done for like 10 years), it was gross and I tell you I can still smell it on my fingers today!

Was a shame to see you shoot off so early mate, never got a chance to chat.

Still, by the next time we meet there is a very good chance I will be working in town so will be able to make it a lot earlier.

Good night had by all. The Guinnesses were going down way too fast and by 10.30 McDonalds and my bed were calling me. I was hammered.

Great to meet all you guy's even if Goz is the most ardent Lennox Lewis fan's I've ever met.

I can remember a pretty good conversation with Mighty Warrior about Jaime Garza - Juan Meza. Sorry if I was a bit repetetive. I often am when pissed.

When I first walked in the pub, I spotted a bald guy and asked him if he was a boxing fan, he siad yes, so I sat down next to him. But then he continued "but not much since Bruno retired".

I took that as a no, and, after some searching, found HH and Co in the back bar.

I agree it would be good to meet up again, a boxing pub would be even better. What about the Ring at Blackfriars. (Its opposite Southwark Tube)
