You'd have thought Catley v Oakey would have been sellable down that neck of the woods.

Wish him the best, although a personal gripe with that article - thats not all of sport psychology. A motivational speaker or confidence coach is not a psychologist.

And getting a diploma will not make you one either - its a hard road to get that title. Msc level mimimun, plus 3 years of supervised experience.

Not a gripe at Catley personally, but that article and for the thousands of rogue "sport psychologists" out there. I LECTURE one guy who has got business cards calling himself a "sport psychologist" - I cannot call myself that, and he is just a first year student.

Nope - part of it yes, but far from all of it.

That neck of the woods :o You're showing your Northern roots Mr Payne as Portsmouth's closer to London than to Bristol and has absolutely nothing in common culturally or historically.
A Bristol boxer fighting someone just 'over the bridge' in Wales would be far more of a sell, or Catley Vs Scott Dann, Plymouth's finest, would have worked as well.
Oakey Vs Francis would fit the bill as Francis is from Basingstoke, which is just up the road from Pompey.
