David Haye. can anybody challenge him on the domestic scene?

No doubt D.Haye is the premier domestic Cruiserweight prospect. Can anyone name a potential challenger on the domestic cruiserweight front....keep an eye on Carl Wright.

I'd pick Hobson over Haye at the moment.

Haye's chin is fragile.

Whilst Haye has got his defensive weaknesses (which he has told me he has been working on), people who can bang a bit will always be a threat, and this includes Lee Swaby who is due toi fight David at the end of this month (although there are rumours that it will be postponed).

I think David will become the best british cruiser, but he isn't going to stroll to the top of the division, fights with the likes of Hobson, Carl Thompson and hopefully Maccarinelli will have us on the edge of our seats, and there will always be the sense of vulnerability, just as much as the sense that David can end any fight with one of his own 'Haye'makers.

i think david is a talent and in time will be the best in the division,but he needs a few more fights becuase at present he will be exposed against decent class.

Swaby will tell us a lot more about Haye. And Hobson. I'd like to see him fight Bruce Scott, too. There's still a lot of questions to be answered before we can be convinced about Haye.

PS: Not sure what you mean about Carl Wright, Rocky. Is he coming back as a trainer?

I agree with Bennie concerning Haye - I'll reserve judgement untill after the Swaby fight. He's doing well, and is being managed well, showing plenty of ambition.

The fight I'd love to see is Haye v Enzo Big Mac. Haye would be the favorite, but you couldn't really be sure of the winner till it's over.
Whoever lands first, and the Welshman is a fast starter..

100% agree........ with Hobson in the mix hopefully we can look forward to some good domestic match ups.....in an ideal world !!!

Carl Wright is currently ranked 17 in boxrec british rankings. Unbeaten as both an amateur and pro, former ABA novice champion. He is still learning but will come on in this not so strong division.

Got you. I was thinking of the Scouser of the same name who had a big benefit night in Liverpool recently.
