Sadly Witter's fight with D Hopkins isn't happening though.
Anyway, if the British fighters do badly, UK boxing will be really reassessed, for the worst. Am I the only one who's a bit worried about this?

Me neither. I have a nasty feeling about Calzaghe v Hopkins. I'm expecting it to be spoilt by Uncle Bernie, and possibly Joe lose a close iffy decision.
However, Tarver stank in his last fight, so I expect Woods to outclass him over 12 on work rate.
The fact that the UK fighters named are even credible opponents says a lot for British boxing.
Plus the amateurs coming through look great.
Include Mitchell and Khan with the likes of Lee, Froch and possibly Smith Jr, and I personally think British boxing is in the best position it's ever been since I became a fan of the sport since 85.

Bernard Hopkins is going to get stopped IMO and with a bit of savvy and a little luck I think Clinton could well KO the bigmouth as well.
Course you know what people would be clammering for then , an all Brit showdown between Calzaghe and Woods.........in short I don't share your pessimism.
