I am also bitter that the only 'Terrible' Terry McGovern fight I can ever find is his much maligned fight with the great Joe Gans, which Gans is rumoured to have thrown.
Terry McGovern was the proto type for Jack Dempsey and Mike Tyson: a heavy handed aggresive intimidator who blew opponents away. Nat Fleischer rated him as the greatest featherweight of all time.
I wish there was more footage out there. I belive his world title fight with Pedlar Palmer was recorded but as it ended so quickly his manager was unable to sell footage of the fight.
