Kid Sheeler's name was Adam "Kid" Sheeler. He was born Nov. 13, 1892 in Greenport, NY (Long Island). His hometown was not Frederick, MD, but rather Kulpmont, PA. He was raised in Kulpmont, PA for most of his life. He never lived in Frederick, MD except for a 1 1/2 year period during his fighting.

Jul 17, 1916 Kid Sheeler vs Jimmie Mack 6 round scheduled bout. Kid Sheeler won by TKO in the 2nd. Fight was at Armory, Frederick, MD. This Jimmie Mack is in your fighter database listed as featherweight from New York, NY.
Oct 9, 1916 Kid Sheeler vs Ray Keyser 12 round scheduled bout. It was a 12 round draw. Fight was at the Armory, Frederick, MD. This fighter is listed in your database as Fay Keiser. The newspaper clearly says Ray Keyser. One of them is wrong.
Nov 23, 1916 Kid Sheeler vs Mike Uraine 6 round sceduled bout. Kid won a 6 round decision. Fight was at Orpheum Theatre, Baltimore, MD. He is in your fighter database as Mike Uraine "Fighting Cop".
