Congratulations Rendall Munroe

Post by Twinkle Toes »

Very well done to Munroe - We should all be giving this guy major props for pulling off a great win last night.

With everything else going on this weekend it is easy to see this result being swept under the carpet, but it is a stand out victory and was a very good performance.

:D :D Well done Rendall!

They come up with the perfect plan to beat Martinez and Rendall boxed out the plan perfectly, his stamnina is exceptional!! I fcuking loved those last 5 rounds of the fight when he came on strong, he made my night.

The scores were shockingly close, I thought Johny Nelsons scorecard was a better reflection, but between then the judges managed to come up with the correct result

Hopefully Rendall can keep focussed and follow this win up with a few successful defences.

An excellent start to the weekends boxing :TU: :TU:

Here Here.

Seems to be a fair amount left in Jason Booths' tank also.

Well done both, but especially Rendall.

Munroe did well, and/but I think he showed up Martinez for being a limited slugger.

Rendall showed his potential against Morris and has come of age. Excellent performance from the wee man, good luck to him. Maybe Pickering up next?

It might not get the headlines - but it was such an impressive display.

A bit like Lynes vs Morrison last year - might not grab the headlines but for me that was the performance of 2007, this is the performance of 2008 so far.

Aye, well done Rendall. I thought for a moment the judges were going to deprive him of a well-deserved win, but he got the right verdict. Top win.
