What a fcuking result! Haye is without doubt the most clinical finisher in boxing. I have no doubt he can become HW champion of the world.

What an absolute butal & clear cut finish from Haye. Maccarinelli was completely gone, he was seperated from his senses. No one can have any qualms about the stoppage.

The good times start here for Haye. I am so pleased for David Haye & a massive fan of his. We should all get behind David & give him all the encouragement he needs.

Congratulations to David Haye & Adam Booth on a magnificent achievement. Long live David Haye!

Haye said that he wants to achieve everything before being 31. Fair enough.
Haye's post fight celebrations suggest a very ambitious fella whose horizons are not narrowed by being a boxer.

Looks like Stallone and Arnie will have to step aside and let Haye do battle with the Rock.

Haye looked so sharp. He didn't look sickly or slow or dehydrated. He got that fast jab going, stayed very focused, edged closer and closer, hurt Enzo, refused to let him off the hook and finished brutally. Credit to the man for taking the risk of this fight & going up against the big fish Warren.

The ref could have let it go on to see if Enzo could recover. No one has complained. He got up badly. Haye was, it turned out, just another class.

Enzo can try again. Cruiser is now wide open but also very tough.

Haye is a superstar in the making. I rate him in the top 10 p4p now. I make Haye the #2 cruiser ever after Holyfield. Haye's KO'd 3 world class cruiserweights in brutal fashion and has 3 belts.

autobarn i know me and you were a couple of the few people who didn't want to see the fight if Haye was weight drained.

I'm so glad that he wasn't and his performance was great.

when the smoke clears though I will once again be asking myself if this fight was a waste of time for Haye since most of the country didnt know it was going on anyway.

I don't know the answer but I'm looking forward to Haye's assault on the heavies, win or lose.

Well done Haye!

He won fair and square, if Enzo had taken a knee like he should have, I still think Macca would have been stopped by a follow up attack. I liked Haye's attitude in the post fight interview, talking about his future journey at HW. Maccarinelli deserves respect also for accepting this fight. I hope Hatton will now be encouraged to accept the Witter fight.

definitely, I'm well chuffed. Looks like Haye and Booth may have tricked Warren a little bit. Warren saw ADVANTAGE written all over this one, yet it seems Haye was that level above.

Now we have to question whether the WBO route really does help fighters or if it can let them down for the big one.

Anyway, great to see a risk taker do so well, in Haye. I mean, Mormeck was the wrong style for him yet he ground out the win. Enzo - at the very least - was the 2nd biggest puncher @ cruiserweight and haye's done him as well.

Brilliant night, even if it was over very quickly. I was hoping for about 6 rds of this but sometimes it's the result that counts.

Wonder who will be televising his fights over here, and who will be promoting him from now on.

I suppose Setanta did their job to hype this fight, but I have been very frustrated by their one sided coverage of Enzo Calzaghe fighters.

Great venue, but fvcking shit parking.

Must say, Haye produced the goods, just as I knew he would(had a nice little earner out of this one!!)

Right result for the sport.
The better fighter won, and he did so EASILY.

Enzo couldn't stand still in the corner, he was completely buggered, ref did the right thing. No complaints from Enzo or Enzo, fair dues, got nailed, end of.

Me too. We parked in car park 1 so was on the road by 3.00am

Good to see Enzo Macc doing a Zab Judah Chicken Dance.

Also good to see the wailing banshee (she's quite fit) getting into grief with security, then realising I was sat 10 yards from her Mum (it's genetic, trust me!), seeing the legendary Holyfield in the flesh and Derek Chisora lost and unable to find his seat.

What a night.
