Don't you just love David Haye!

After proving he is the best cruiserweight in the world (something we knew already), he claimed that the cruiserweights can't take his power & it's now time for the heavyweights!

I'm really excited about Haye; he seems to have a lot going for him.

It's just disappointing that the HW division is devoid of any real talent or charismatic fighters.

All aboard the Daye Haye express: It's going to be a fun ride, with the Thomas Hearns of the HW division!!!! :P

I really can't wait. You can't guarantee 100% he won't get sparked at some point, but the great thing is you also can't guarantee his opponent won't be prone. Names keep passing through my head, and I just want to see what would happen. Meehan? Tua? Briggs?

I think his biggest problem might be getting the fights. Some of these cautious promotors - Garmany in particular - won't put a guy like Dimitrenko anywhere near him. I know he's talking Klitschko, but given his history moving through the WBC ranks, that may be the viable option. Fight with Samuel Peter anyone?

Guys like Chambers, Ibragimov, McCall and Mollo - guys who have little to lose - may take the fight. I'd also help fund the purse if they could put guys like Sosnowski and Greenburg to bed.

The one thing that excites me about Haye's charge is that there is likely to be minimal arseing around. Get up there, go in with say Rahman or the likes and build his way up the rankings. Not go in with Jeremy Bates, Howard Daley and Ron Guerrero. Go straight for the jugular and aim for the European or a crack at Sam or Skelton.

Man, he'll get the fights, there won't by ANY problems there.

Haye is going to make a LOT of money.

The thing I'm most disturbed about is that it's gonna take him to make a BIG storm up there to be a household name in this country.

i just don't think this shitty country full of losers is ready to embrace a guy with a winner's persona like Haye- basically someone totally un-British.

Shame, because he is an awesome guy and basically is what British people should be like.

I want to see Haye-Wladdy because David has all the tools to KO Wlad. The power would be too much for Wlads chin and Haye has the speed and skill to beat Wlad to the punch. Wlad would shit himself too being put in with a puncher like Haye

The amount of people I spoke to yesterday at the fight, and in the days leading upto it that said they wanted to see "that arrogant Haye knocked out" was pretty alarming!

They seemed to keep citing his lack of respect for not showing up for the press conferance and basically just mimicking what allegedly was coming out with.

Pretty amazing how ignorant some so called "fans" are.
Some will literally take the words of allegedly as gospel...

If Haye wants to become a household name, he should sign up for strictly come dancing or maybe sign a 3 yr contract with allegedly.

Fortunately, for us genuine boxing fans he seems more intent on actually doing his talking IN the ring.And long may it continue

it's weird because everyone loved Naz, and naz had the same aura of confidence but was actually not a very likeable guy, whereas Haye is IMO.

I think it may have something to do with eras. The 90's swagger that Naz had seemed to fit in with the times.

But the 00's isn't really characterised by anything, least of all boxing.

plus Haye is definitely no Hatton-esque Everyman.
I just hope that Haye does so well that this country is FORCED to take notice.
Question is, just how well will he have to do? I think he'll have to unify 2 titles AT LEAST.
IMO getting household name recognition is Haye's biggest challenge of all- and that is very sad indeed.

that's why it is great that he blasted out the Warren fighter. Now the absolute NOBS at some of the newspapers might think twice before towing the line and using FW press release propaganda for straight stories that idiots believe. Frank's already got a TV channel AND a newspaper to spout propaganda and I hope ppl see through his media manipulations.

Haye shouldbe matched against Oliver McCall for his first heavyweight fight, McCall as tough as they come should provide Haye with the rounds, not saying Haye needs rounds as he is already undisputed champ at cruiser but just feel it would be a good first fight for him at Heavyweight.

Haye strikes me as a nice bloke, he is just confident in his ability which is fair enough as long as he's willing to prove himself.

He's not as spiteful a bloke as everyman hatton who doesn't want other people to get a payday because he's had all the luck and oppertunities and the other guy did.

naz was different to haye. He showboated, and knew he was good at boxing. haye is a very good fighter, but i cant stand his personality. I can stand naz, he seemed okay to me.

If you could put the nice guy attitude of danny williams into haye, then everyone would like him more.

Christ, i like Audley Harrison more than David haye. That would be a good match.....

David Haye is a winner. He doesn't fear anyone. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean he is invicible, it just means he is always in the right frame of mind to rise to the challenges that lay before him.
