I think it would be sensible for him to go with Warren actually. David isn't the type that will accept crap fights and the WBO belt and Warren is the man best placed to make the big fights happen and on the right terms for his fighter.

I'm sure they could work something out, the amount of money and public interest to be gained is too great to pass up.

Is that supposed to be funny? Warren IS the WBO master! FW is the man who brought the WBOgus belts to our shores in the first place. If you want to make decent money defending WBO belts in front of 2000 people, Warren is the expert. But, if like Haye, you actually have ambition, avoid him like AIDS.

If Haye is serious about not fighting past 30 then he will probably need to be fighting for a US promoter to achieve his heavyweight goals. Warren gets the big fights for his guys but they're always a long time coming. The big fights at Heavy are going to be in the US or perhaps Germany. Would be nice to have Haye fighting over here but I think he has to take his show on the road.

If Haye wants guaranteed money, then Frank is his man. Say what you will about Warren, but he's exceptional at his job and you never hear fighters saying he ripped them off.

Thatbeingsaid, Frank is a cutie when it comes to match making. It's all something that Disraeli -- or Gladstone, I don't remember which -- would call "sewet pudding" match making -- all starch and no substance. How long will Haye the risk taker put up with men who have titles and big scalps on a padded record but who offer no real challenge?

I suspect Haye will stay more independent, picking and choosing, and I really wouldn't be surprised to see him fight in the states. He trains in Miami, right? So why not?

I really wouldn't be surprised if he didn't just go Stateside and jump in with one of the big boys over there right now. Would make perfect sense to me.

He is already at a level where he is going to take on the best and for the best fights you need to be in America, that is generally fact.

Barry Hearn did Bruno-Bugner with no experience, remember, clean from Steve Davis. Didn't he also help put on Benn-Watson in the 'Supertent'? I remember EVERYONE was talking about Benn-Watson in the weeks and months leading to it.

Every Eubank fight was a massive occasion, despite it being every six weeks!

He got 20,000 into that cathedral in South Africa for Eubank against flabby 'Dangerous' Dan Schommer, and Baby Jake Matlala.

It was Nigel Benn and Ambrose Mendy, remember.

Nigel even ripped up his license live on ITV because the Board weren't recognising the WBO as a 'world' title, and because they wouldn't let Mendy work his corner.

He doesn't. He wants glory.

But if he becomes Heavyweight Champion of the World, how on Earth would he need allegedly to make him money?

The Hamed were not ripped off - they just took over the reins so they could get the TV rights which were netting Warren more than Naz made per fight.

The Hattons were just simple folk who were happy with the money they were being paid, then they woke up and went elsewhere.

Hearn is a crafty schmuck, though. He'd always give judges nice hotel rooms with champaigne on ice and have the Daily Mirror page 3 girls flirt with them. Thats why Eubank got so many gifts. He also agreed once on Benn's behalf that Nigel would fight Michael Nunn or Reggie Johnson win or lose against Eubank(2nd fight),without Nigel's consent. Nigel didn't want to fight tricky southpaws until his last fights(because they wouldn't fight entertain the public and he could lose and mess securing his familys future up). Benn waslivid. Hearn did that just because he wanted to get Benn/Eubank 2 on and rake in some dosh. Best stay away from him.

The word S-C-H-M-U-C-K was invented for Frank 'Fish Eye' Warren.

Not sure why Haye thinks he needs 6 months to get his body used to Heavyweight, by his own words he's a Heavyweight who'd been boiling down to Cruiserweight. He walks around at 220+ according to him. Anthing over that is going to slow him down IMO.

I think Haye and Booth appear to be pretty smart themselves. It all appears to have been planned since bloody November, when Haye kept his weight down, kept himself in great shape, after looking in the camera and saying "Enzo, unfortnately I can't make cruiser anymore." The percentage playing Warren couldn't resist the bait when Haye "relented" on the subject.

They'll definitely recognise Haye's value. Let's just talk about the UK. They could avoid getting tied to any promoter for too long, and they could avoid getting tied to a TV station for more than 1 fight at a time. You don't want to be stuck on ITV as they seem to be, e.g., stingy about the dates they give out for fights. And also, it's nice to rake in the highest offer fight by fight.

I don't know about anyone else but I would like to see Haye having his biggest fights at the 02 because look at the atmosphere.

I think that's possible once he's the champion, but in the meantime he's going to have to travel I would think. I really can't see Peter, Klitschko or Chagaev bringing their belts over to Haye's backyard for a fight when they are bigger draws in the US and Germany.

yeah, the world title fights are cool for a big arena, but not learning fights for things like EBU titles.

I would find it very very surprising indeed if F rank W arren promotes David Haye in the immediate future, the same goes for Frank Maloney, Hennessy Sports, Matchroom or Fight Academy too.

David Haye and Adam Booth should not be underestimated they always seem to have something up their sleeve and I am positive they do this time around too.

Lets see who David Haye fights next and indeed who promotes that show ... because it won't be what people expect - unless of course promoters throw absolutely ridiculous money at Team Haye.

Unfortunatley it has to be Fwank.

No other UK promoter gets 20k through the door.

Example - I went to Manchester MEN for a Matchroom Promotion.

Brodie Vs SOMEONE GOOD
Richard Williams Vs Sergio Martinez
Brian Magee Vs South African guy who was good
Lord of the Manor ( forgot his name)

Must have been 2k there at best

FWANK IS A FISH BUT HE DOES THE BUSINESS.

Haye wants the Big Crowds.

In Interviews with Booth In boxing monthly he said Haye will eventually be 238 while mantaining speed.

Anybody else left a bit dissapointed by the way some of the things at the O2 on saturday ie the fact drinks were only served until around midnight, not having a single Big Screen TV anywhere to give a close up/replays of the action. After talking to staff in the arena they said neither of these things were as a result of Areana policy but were down to the organisers. I was nt really to bothered too much about the drinks thing, cannot understand why they would chopse not to have screens though.
Other than this thought the O2 was a great arena, despite being up in the gods was pretty happy with my view.
