BAMI/BARNES - AnY Views

Post by GlobalBox »

Interesting fight this one, will struggle to live upto Mitchell/Johanneson but still tough to find a winner with confidence

Barnes is the classier of the two but still remember his defeat to Okine and the way he struggled against Nuumbembe (altough that looks ok in light of Ali's achievements) Bami bangs hard and not sure Barnes really copes well with power shots, he seems to go back into his shell a bit and neglects that smooth boxing style, for fear of shipping more leather.

Both seem ok guys so no real favourites, at this stage would probably edge Bami on points but not convinced.

Anyone know how the boys are in there preparations, they are not two boxers who get mentioned much on here so guess no one really knows the camps etc

Ted Bami has too much heart to be beaten by Barnes. Barnes has the skills but maybe not enough will to win when things get tough. Bami on points 3/4 rounds up.

Barnes to win by stoppage - on the condition he has finally learned the lesson of living the life of a boxer!!!

I think Barnes stops Bami - Bami has been let diwn by his chin before and he will again.

Although, I am rooting for BAMI as a fellow South London/Wandsworth Road/Stockwell.Brixtonite.

Peace.

Yes I forgot he had domestic problems, it could make a big difference unless he has put it behind him. True he wasnt his usual self last time out.

Tough fight to call, I expect a scrappie affair - neither have looked impressive of late. I thought Bami looked pretty dire in the Lauri rematch.
