looks like a fcking building site.

why has it got a load of ugly spikes sticking out of it - can't they build a round building thesedays without a load of ugly spikes. I didn't see the Victorians making a botched job of the Royal Albert Hall.......I didn't see the Globe theatre in Stratford supported by a load of cranes 10 years on.

Well, without those spikes it would fall down as it is a tented structure.

Bear in mind, it was never meant to be more than a temporary structure. Pretty frigging stupid when you consider it cost several hundren million quid.

I think it looks very impressive personally, and unlike any other major boxing venue, plenty to do after the fight.

As close as we have to the MGM grand, though the MGM is probably about four times the size.

I've always said the same thing. It's the nearest you can get to a Vegas casino without leaving the country. If they didn't have hospitality between lower tier and upper tier, the viw would be as good as the Garden Arena as well.

Superb venue.

It would have been nice if the Setanta guys were in a studio - could hardly hear them at times.

And the Reverb and feedback when the MC is doing the announcements is pretty poor for such a plush venue

Quality venue.

Football stadiums are built similar these days, its all about size and making them safe structures rather than pretty buildings.

1) 19100+ (dependent on the fight, for Hatton v Mayweather they built additional tiers)

2) MGM doesn't have much else to do apart from a water park, lions and whatever is on at the Ballroom. But there's always the strip.

What you want to do after the fight is up to you, gamle, drink, strip club. theme park rides, walk down through the various hotels, see a show, eat, and if the fancy takes you smash the ass outof some hookers as prostitution is legal in Vegas and they're not shy in offering their services

The promotion was really good as SN shows normally are, but the transport links, the venue etc is a nightmare, for a venue as big as the 02 it was a joke!, you had to wait for everything, it took me 4 hrs to get from the arena to our hotel 3 miles away because some muppett closed 1 lane on the Blackwall tunnel.

It makes Setanta on your own sofa with a tinny seem much more appealing.

I think the people taking the motorway shortcut were Cockney's looking to nip off the motorway at some point, still a risk though. At one point I did wish I was at home but the atmposphere was well worth it, despite that one dire toilet experience.

I was third in from an aisle seat but was sat next to what can only be described as two obnoxious Frenchmen (and I love France and its people in general). I practically had to twat the guy with my elbow to get some room. He had opera glasses, endless shit around his person, a huge camping bag blocking the aisle and simply refused to let anyone move his bag or get past without clambering over him. I was pretty worse for wear so just slumped in my seat. At one point a lady walked past and we all stood up for her but t ese French guys would not clear their bags. The lady was with a huge Cockney guy who was wearing a leather jacket and looked a bit handy. He told us there was woman coming through and I explained to him the situation with Pepe Le Prick and the immovable bag. The Cockney guy nodded his head and said "He won't move? He's got no choice now the Kahnt! Move your fooking bag mate, a lady wants to get past!". It was a job well done. I'd have bought the Cockney guy a drink if the bar was open. Not sure why I told you all that, possibly because I'm waiting for my lunch hour.

You do know there were lovely quiet toilets on our level to the left and right of where we were sat, right?

It's vast. Let's put it this way, from the foyer of the hotel, and with a map, it took me 40 minutes to find the arena for the fight.

The main thing is that nothing ever closes. There are about 20 proper restaurants, several gaming areas, loads and loads of bars, a couple of nightclubs, and the entire strip is there open 24/7 also.

I have to say, when I went to the Prince aftershow party, it was a nightmare getting home. Not tubes, no buses to get anywhere sensible, ended up walking absolutely miles before finally having to spent 35 quid on a Taxi home.

It is a very remote location, they need to lay on some bus services to take people into the centre of town so they can get home, it's ridiculous expecting people to have to get a cab home from the Greenwich peninsula, it's in the middle of bloody knowhere.

The poles are too busy building and plumbing the bogs mate, they don't need to clean them, we have African immigrants for that.

I personally love the O2 arena, been there a few times now. Easy to get served, toliets are great and the view is tremedous. Yes the transport links are a nightmare but isn't that London in general?

Went to see Oasis a fews years ago at Finsbury Park and they annoucned near the end that the last tube was at something like 11pm. Oasis didn't finish till gone 10:45pm so everyone dashed to the tube. Had to walk miles that night to get a bus back to my car.

I don't understand why they can't put on special tubes, not saying open every station but a direct service to Waterloo, Victoria, Charing Cross or something that allows you to get a taxi or night bus would be ideal.

Ken Livingstone is always banging on about keeping London moving so surely that applies to late night events!

I felt sorry for any women that needed the bog at the fight.

I was caught short when off buying a round, and without realising followed a group of guys into what I thought was the mens toliets...turned out it was the womens and there was an inch of piss/sick all over the place where they toilets had been blocked, and some cheeky rascals had took it upon the themselves to make the ladies lavs a designated smoking area!

Security were NOT happy

According to today's Guardian the traffic was so bad Haye ended up walking 5 miles back to Bermondsey after the fight.

they can't get enough tube staff to run the network during NORMAL hours, how many times have trains been cancelled or stations closed due to short staffing!? They'd want triple time to work those hours.

They should have operated a shuttle bus to central london, say 30 coaches to trafalgar square. At least people can get home from there.

It was anightmare walked aroudn the docklands in circles for an hour then got on a njightbus = 1 hour to town then a hike to my bro's....never again.
