Christian Laight is his opponent. Warrens site says he is a light welter who has never been stopped.... talk about positive spin.
He has never been stopped true, but he has never won a fight either!!!
He has fought at 138 before which would technically make him a light welter... however he has also fought at 127, which taking into account the notice he was given for the fight he could probably do featherweight.

Steve, I think he is being matched way more cautiously then even Hatton was!
In his first half dozen fights Hatton met tough old Karl Taylor and talented Mark Ramsey. No way will Mitchell be let near a former ABA champ so early...
At this rate Mitchell will have notched up 30 odd fights before hitting the British title which is rediculous.
Its been said before, but wouldn't he have been better served boxing international amatuer standard fighters in a vest, then getting fed a steady diet of stiffs as a young pro?
