All he needs to do is tell Fwank his undercards are pants and tell Hatton to stop being a biitch and fight Witter.

He is much better than that Bitch Ben Carey OR

Tunceh Tye Rac as I logged onto Boxing Talk forum as!

Read it backwards.

Tunceh Tye Rac

Ben Carey and myself would converse for ages in a thread - little did he know the meaning behond the name Tunceh Tye Rac

most boxing writers seem to be shit these days you've got Colin Hart who lives in the past too much, Steve Bunce who rambles on in his column almost as much as he does on telly and fwank who just seems to tell us how great his fighters are and how everyone else is ducking them.
i actuall enjoy reading Claudes work and i've never read Rawlings column so i have no idea how good he is.

I'm not getting into this argument but have to say Abrams is good on TV. He has good manner and is thoughtful. I don't believe he's that good a writer though.

Did Spud just ask us to be 'a touch cleverer in the way we comment'.

Fkk me blue.

Spud you moan when people brown nose, then chastise those that dont tow the line.

Fkk me stop trying to police the debate and just be part of the debate.

Certainly wouldn't be the first boxing journalist.

I quite like Bunce to be honest although I do agree with some of the comments on here - he can overdo it with the 'amusing' analogy-metaphor (Buncaphors) at the end of every rant, as Stu said.

David - Good Evening - just seen your comment.

I will keep to the theme of the thread - I have kept to the debate - I know for a fact that TV companies do visit these forums and whilst they accept there will be criticisms and lots of them - it is also good to see positive feedback every now and again.

BBC dumped boxing.

Sky are watering down boxing.

Despite ITVs chairman Michael Grade's recent comments that he is keen for ITV to enhance their sporting coverage it doesn't help the Head Of Sport (Don't know his name) being quite opposed to boxing - that was indeed highlighted recently in Mr W arrens article in the sun only last Saturday - and thus he forsees ITV watering down their boxing coverage.

So what do we have left Setanta.

All I am saying David is for us to be a tadge more subtle with the comments concerning Bunce and the rest of the team.

You have to remember the likes of Bunce has on many many occasions been the only mainstream sports reporter at shows - sat of course amongst the various internet writers. Bunce loves the sport and has done an awful lot in many many aspects - I do not think he deserves such a public flogging.

As for Abrams inclusion - I have had nothing negative to write about it - I think it is a very good move and have wrote as such.

Coverage good, amount of boxing shown good, Abrams good, Dempsey excellent, Woodhall excellent.

Plenty of positives there.

Bunce = annoying.

As I said on another thread, there will be some TV features on BBN starting next week.

BBC can't afford the big fights.

Sky aren't watering down - I think they offer a better product these days, to a certain degree.

Head of ITV Sport and News is Mark Sharman and it was him who actually brought boxing back - he's certainly not against it. What he is probably against is ending up with Macc v Gunn on his network under an exclusive deal with Warren who then goes elsewhere and produces Macc v Haye for another channel.

Setanta - great stuff.

Setanta - great stuff.
Ian - what Setanta are doing at present for the sport - especially the boxing fan is nothing short of bloody great in my view.

Good domestic match ups and great world title match ups.

I only have a slight reservation - the man at Setanta is a good pal of mr W arren - once W arren and Khan have finally finished with ITV - I am wondering whether the same vigour and enthusiasm for putting on decent shows will still be there once Mr W arren has enbedded himself fully at Setanta - we will see - but certainly at the moment - some bloody good shows and some bloody good fights.

Abrams - Good Addition

Woodhall - Gets better each show - he was good in the first place

Dempsey - Excellent

Bunce - Excellent in my view - his knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport is 2nd to none and I would much rather have him on the box than some stuck up journalist who is good with his words but knows f*ck all about the sport.

and neither can itv really.

setanta are the ones obviously coughing up.

the climate has changed.

we'd all like to see british boxing doing big ratings on terrestrial.

but as long are fans are packing out the arena's for the fights then the sport is healthy.

i agree that setanta are great.

well worth it for the money.

personally I like Nigel Benn but he coated Audley on BBc1 and never got asked back again.
I think most of them are good but what realy gets up my goat is when a fighter stinks and their still shouting praises.
Say it as it it 'He was bloody awfull'
