I think I've sorted a press pass, but my friend wants to go too, and I'm not sure who to phone to buy tickets from...

What's gay about that statement? Buff just means built, perhaps I should have said Tonk or Hench, would that have been better?

Ah the classic "You love him!" - "No, you do!" response.

Hard to argue with that.

(I must remember to switch off my webcam before indulging in a little one-handed bout with Clinton)

I bet he's kept busy in South Wales Lugh - last time I was in Cardiff for the Joe C fight there were brawls breaking out at every pub on the road, and people asleep in the gutter covered in chips and pizza....and this was at 4 o'clock in the afternoon!

Chuckle, mind you Manchester city centre after the Hatton v Pendleton fight wasn't much better, it was like the bloody wild west. City had played united that day, and everyone at the boxing match seemed to be drunk/scarred/a skinhead or a combination thereof.

Being a bald bastard myself I fitted in kindof, but my mate said 'let's get the fornicate out of dodge' as soon as we got out of the fight.

Believe it or not though, the most violent place I ever saw was around kettering train station at 11.30 on a friday night. Best mates battering eachother to death with their kebabs everywhere you looked.

Ah the joys of Caroline Street (AKA Salmonella Street).

Be nice to those drunks in the street - as Stu has pointed out - its probably one of us lot!

Did you see the "Drunk and Dangerous" show on BBc last night? It was basically a show based on CCTV footage of Cardiff City Centre on a Friday and Saturday night - I was soooooo pround of compatriots

(Incidentally my Dad's not a Policeman - but when I was at school the standard response to "my dad's bigger than your dad" was "My Dad's a Policeman" - Obviously this argument ended with "my Dad's God" - "oh yeah? My Dad's God's Dad"..etc ad nauseum).

Can anyone here remember when age was the indicator of toughness, your grandad was considered to be harder than galactus because as a nipper the olde you got, the bigger you were.

Thus 'My dad's older than your dad' was a common playground taunt.

as was

'Make me'

'Nah, don't make shit'

Yeah I didn't think he really was a policeman Lugh...though you never know.
Yes I noticed that programme on TV last night and saw Cardiff mentioned, didn't get to see it though.
To be honest I'd never seen anything like it walking back after the show - gangs of drunks roaming around - looking for trouble - and that was just the women! :D

Good laugh though.
