Things you will NEVER see in boxing

Post by whicker »

1. An issue of Boxing News that doesn't feature a picture of Katie Taylor.

2. A boxer who says "no, I'm not getting that tattoo- it looks stupid. "

3. People with ringside tickets who turn up more than ten minutes before the main event.

4. A foreign undercard import winning.

5. A British TV commentator/pundit who dares to suggest his own opinion.

6. An American TV commentator who doesn't spend the entire fight sharing his own opinions.

7. A Victorious boxer admit that his opponent was rubbish.

8. A British title fight ending in a 10 count knockout.

9. A show that puts the paying audience members first.

10. An accurate programme.

4. A foreign undercard import winning.
Happened on Eurosport when the french guy was beaten by the romanian with a 1-42 record

5. A British TV commentator/pundit who dares to suggest his own opinion.
Pretty sure they do that on Eurosport quite often.

7. A Victorious boxer admit that his opponent was rubbish.
Herbie Hide (his name comes up again) has done that several times. Pretty sure Nigel Benn used to do it quite often aswell.

She's probably a lovely girl but when she's at Vinnys fights I feel like smashing the telly to bits because of her screeching voice.

A weight drained Danny Williams

Ricky Hatton arriving to the ring on a flying carpet, then dancing on the ring apron while wearing shades.

A boxer who loses and says "no excuses.." and doesn't follow it with the word "but.."

A streaker running across the ring during a big fight.

5. A British TV commentator/pundit who dares to suggest his own opinion.

Isn't a commentator supposed to commentate on the fight and stay neutral???
