Levin steps it up (finally).

European Heavyweight prospect Attilla Levin finally steps up the competition and takes on fringe contendor Jeremy Williams on April the 15th.

At last, as Levin, who although looks good in cameo's has been protected throughout his proffesional career. Williams is a good fighter, going through an impressive patch himself. He's a fighter who still habours proffesional honours himself. We will learn an awful lot about the futures of both fighters after this bout.

Im a big Levin fan. I saw him in his last fight and I believe if he wasnt Swedish(a country where pro boxing is banned) I think we would be speaking with him in the same sentences as the other 3 undefeated prospects, Guinn, Mesi and Harrison. Levin can immediately elevate his status above these 3 by beating Williams which after seeing his last contest I believe he will do.

Seen Levin plenty of times on Eurosport and whilst he certainly is big enough and has decent skills, he never seems overly fit and doesn't appear to have a killer instinct.

Is Angelo Dundee still training him?

Williams is a hard combination puncher and exciting but as chinny as they come. Levin should beat him.

James, I think the fact the Levin did lose early in his career, 1st round KO, also makes people more sceptical of him. I think he's a talent who should be looked at more.

Point taken but he has KOd Ray Austin nuff said. He has come in way to heavy in his last 2 fights but I think against Williams he will come in much lighter than 18'11"

Yes, I'm not denying that - just when I write about Levin on more American forums they usually say "isn't he chinny". I tell you, he'll have to come in lighter than 18st 11, thats rediculous - he's not that big a heavy. Williams would have a field day, if he comes in like a lump of lard, I didn't know he'd let himself go.

To be honest I don't think he has ever been particularly fi, from what I have seen of him. With his height and body type 16st 8 is plenty for him to weigh...nearly 19st indicates a 'prospect' with zero ambition.

First of all, that KO1 loss was no worse than Lennox' two flukes, in fact Attila was man enough to get up.

Second, he is not very fat at all, just a little tubby around the waist and chest. Look at Tyson at his vacations, he's a frikkin lardass and still makes it back in top shape. Well perhaps not against Super Nielsen but anyway Attila will be superfit for this fight, you better believe it people. 8)

I for one will stay with Attila the Hun til the wheel come off.

...which they probably will about 10 seconds into his next fight

Top Shape!!!

Tyson hasn't been in top shape for about 10 years now!!!! He might look ripped, but that's just pumping weights, Tyson himself admits he hates roadwork, and barely trains for fights. Everyone who has trained him in recent years has also stated that he turns up for training whenever he sees fit.
