Hi gents,
an easy example is in April's boxing monthly. Look at David Haye's WBA belt, then see Chagaev's - it looks like a childrens replica or something. Does anyone know why?
cheers

ps: please, it is NOT that Haye's is the WBA Super title belt, I just picked Haye as an example as there is a clear shot of his belt - which is the standard one (the super-belt looks like the one from the Rocky films, or indeed, the old IBC title which Hector Camacho proudly wore for a few years back in the 90's).
Why is Chagaev's WBA belt different?

Have you got a picture, as I have a feeling you're referring to the RING belt (which the Rocky 3 poster uses).T.M.K wrote:Hi gents,

Which would make sense as Chagaev's could be based on the original and Hayes is based on the new version.BigEars wrote:It appears to me(and I have no real knowledge of this case tbh) that Chagaev's belt is an older version of the WBA title .
The LWW and W version's are the same as Haye's though, and I think the SMW version is too.
