Someone asked me today if BoxRec had available for purchase CD-ROMs of its bouts? I said I didn't know, but would ask here. If not, is this something you could do, John? It potentially could be a great source of income to help you finance this baby.

Sorry Ric, but I'm not too keen on the idea. Boxrec is a living breathing organism, to commit it to a CD would be to fix the data and we know how fast things change on this site. I just know I would be inundated with emails along the lines of "well it says on my CD it was round six but on your web site it says round 7 " ..... etc. etc.

I have an idea how to generate some income from the data on another site without compromising boxrec in any way and I may even get around to coding it up.

For those who are interested the costs of the site have risen to UK £6 , US $10 or in my terms three pints of beer a week. So boxrec is very healthy hobby, the more it costs the less I drink and the more my health improves !
