ROMANOV/THAXTON TICKETS???

Post by overhand_right »

Do i have to call these call centre monkey retreads at the ticketmaster hotline and endure their automated dragged out press 1 bollox routine?

For Howard Eastman/Richard Williams there was a genuine number i belled and some friendy bird put tickets aside for me & my mate at York Hall.

Can i not do this again? Just show up and pay on the night?

Also, how do you know whether the balcony will be open? £80 ringside to watch Thaxton is pricey when Eastman was only £50, i'm thinking i want the balcony seat instead-- if you show up early enough you get the absolute best view!!

Of course you can pay on the night - provided it's not a sell out !
The prices seem to be standard at York Hall now.
The balcony is always open as far as I'm aware.
I tend to go ringside but it is frustrating the seats are not numbered - first come, first served.
It means getting in early and sitting on your hands.
I would always ring the boxers / representatives direct for tickets.
There are always numbers on the posters.

Over hand,
I understand prices have been increased since the first announcement.
I'm told it's now £100 ringside (reserved) so get on the ballcony.
Why not PM Wellington ?

Thanks for your info fellas! :TU:

York Hall Tickets

Post by Boxing Nut »

I have just purchased tickets from ticketmaster via the web no hassel at all. The prices are £80 ringside and £35 unreserved, where did you get £100 from. I have been to York Hall loads of time and usually you can purchase tickets on the night.

So basically if you purchase "unreserved" (anywhere other than the ringside seats) you are free to walk up to the balcony or anywhere else?

Understood. Thanks man.

Does Thaxton really have that big a contingent from Norwich? This surely wont be a sell out, will it?
