He may well take it. If Hatton can get 60,000 fans at Wembley, it could be one of the biggest live gates in boxing history.

Totally pointless for the boxing fan. Totally worth it for Hatton & Mayweather's retirement fund.

I wonder if Oscar could be tempted out of retirement for a third summer 09 fight too?

The build up, hype and result woud all be identical to December.

I seriously wonder if Cotto's ever gonna get his chance to face his closest rival.

Precisely, Oscar, Floyd and Hatton are carving up a nice slice for themselves aren't they.

I can honestly see Hatton and Oscar fighting one another down the line.

If this is true, I'm rapidly losing respect for Mayweather. After being a clown in WWE and fighting ODLH again, all he seems to care about is money.

I know we go on about Witter v Hatton, but IMO Mayweather dodging Cotto is even worse. And I'm starting to wonder whether Mayweather is truly scared of losing to Cotto, especially if the rumours of Cotto's tattoo are true.

Forrest is a huge fighter, with great boxing skills, and especially a great jab.

Cotto is a monster at 147, unlike Hatton, and is absolutely relentless.

I'm convinced if he had a decent shoulder, he wouldn't have lost to Mayorga. Anyone that says Forrest ain't no good, look at the Mosley fights.

Regarding the Cotto tatto, he allegedly has a tattoo saying along the lines of Mayweather is scared to fight me.

Ray Hatton could referee it and Mayweather would still beat him. I just can't see how Hatton has any chance. I can only remember him landing that one clean shot in the first round last time other than that he landed nothing. Mayweather wins a rematch more clearly, he figures guys out as he goes and already has Hatton figured from their first encounter. Seriously what exactly could Hatton do differently? Not much.

I got into boxing after seeing Hatton fight Castillo and he was awesome, I knew then that I would be big boxing fan and that Hatton is best

I don't buy anyone would be stupid enough to have such a tattoo, what if Mayweather fights him next and KOs him brutally? He'll look a complete fool

I always said Mayweather-Hatton 2 would happen, the money is too much for Mayweather to turn down

BUT he needs to fight Cotto before Hatton for boxing otherwise his legacy is tarnished

Has anyone watched the hatton video on the BBC website?

I am sorry to say Hatton is cleary deluded. I think the Mayweather defeat has affected him more than first thought.

He goes on and on about the defeat and how 'it was even after 6 rounds' and due to certain factors i.e the ref he doesn't feel he was given a fair shake.

He goes on to mention that he is not one to complain and would rather give his opponent credit but then instantly complains about the elbows the forearms and the biased ref. He is still fooling himself into believing that he was cheated out of a victory.

And then when 1 reporter describes Cortez as an absolute disgrace! Everyone seems to be fooled.

I wonder how Hatton would feel if Kiostya Tszyu was sat there kicking and screaming about Dave Parris in their fight and saying he only wanted to give Ricky credit for the victory but in actual fact just complained and gave him none!

I love the 3rd person talk aswell, he has well and truly bought into his own hype.

"Its all about the challenge with Ricky Hatton". Ha ha.
