if i was a gambling man i would be going for dolan at 3s after seeing everone he will be the more suited i feel not just because of his boxing ability but the fact that he looks like an athlete to have 3 fights in such a short time takes some doing and i think he will get through it the best unless maybe he draws kenna,rogan or morgan first and they bulldoze him cos his not the biggest of lads if your thinking of putting money on alex ibbs i wouldnt bother not cos he got stopped last time out but cos he looked like a little rabbitt trapped in the headlights the other day i hope im wrong and he puts in a good performance cos he seemed a nice lad and his only young and it might finish him if he gets bombed out early morgan will be dangerous early but i cant see him getting through 3 fights and i will be trying that hard just to win the first fight(your money raises from £3500 to £7000) that i will be fucked after that dont get me wrong i will still be going for it in the semis but the £7000 will do me nicely it will pay for my babys christening, i will be able to give my mum a nice lump(shes been ill so she cant work for a while) do a few other things with it then get pukka pied up to the max and get absolutely out of it with the rest

Dont let Billy fool you too much on this subject mate i know by his manner on the phone he is gonna give this a real go!! Wether he can win it remains to be seen but i know he is gonna give it 100% ( he fu**ing better if im travelling and spending this much) !!

When Daivd made his debut on a Fight Academy show I really thought he would do the business - but I honestly feel the transition to the professional ranks has been a huge step for the guy and as such on the surface he appears to be very raw and some would argue novicy - if that is the right word.
However if you look at Dolan's amateur record he has done bloody well for himself - England International of high calibre who has won some decent amateur scraps.

its fair to say he is one of those guys who has not really converted very well to the 'banging heads together' brigade. perhaps the comfort of the padded hat was more his line, its a rough old world in the pro ranks, and some of these old stagers have no respect for amateur stylists.
he has good skills but im not convinced about the power, i think the winner of this tournament will have to bang a few people out.

I was hugely disappointed with Dolan in his pro debut - he just didnt look anything like the polished international amateur I had him down as.
Maybe he has improved as the months have gone by, but his lack of size and dig, for me, make him an outside bet in this tournament.

Don't know how to call this one, think Morgan will steam roller Dolan to face Kenna in the semi's but this will be one tought match and the winner may have nothing left for the final. Interesting. Can't wait to go.
That Welsh fella Kevin Evans would kill all these fellas... pitty he wasn't involved. Would heve liked to see him turn pro, is there still time for him? he must be 30 or 31?
hmmm...Martin Rogan and David Dolan are OK but think this could end up being a shitfest with average fighters looking to throw bombs and some really scrappy fights..respect to all involved though including Billy

Unless the English AMA's are different the only way he'd be used to it would be fighting with only a days rest. I can't see this having as much of an effect as people are suggesting. All these guys will be sparring in sets of 3's over the last while so they should all have experience. I think the more athleticly trained fighters stand a better chance, and those that hit the road rather than pukka pies lol.
Dolans fight plans might help but the AMA game differs greatly from the Pro's, it is no longer a point scoring fight rather an impress the judges fight now.
Spot on Bill I think it's been long overdue & well done to Barry Hearn for puting this show together. I will be there & I'm sure it will be a good nights boxing. I hope all you lads have got yourselfs in top condition for it
