Please make a change on Leon Green's record for me

Post by armageto »

On Leon Green (welterweight), ID # NY073653, please change his loss from KO to TKO. It isn't a huge difference, but Leon got up before the count of 10 (around 6), but Nady waved off the fight. You can put that in the comment box if you'd like as well.

A loss is a loss, but it makes it look like this kid was KO'd cold, which wasn't the case at all.

Thanks ahead of time............ :TU:

sorry, the NV commission ruled it a KO and that is what we have to go by.

Thanks, I guess I'll call them to check into it then. Not a huge deal, but a TKO sounds slightly better than a KO..... :TU:

AFAIK, Referee Jay Nady waived it off before even starting a ten-count.

U don’t have to actually be “counted out” for it to be an official KO if the
referee feels you’ve lost your senses and are in need of medical attention.

Sounds odd to me that Nady would wave it off, because they told me Leon got up within about 6 seconds and would have been able to fight on. I suppose he was stunned, but if you can go on, give the kid a chance Nady!!!

In a report written by Bart Barry @ ringside for the 15 rounds page on 9/16/2006
Bart Barry wrote: Saturday night’s fourth bout saw an impressive
professional debut made by Nevada’s own Anthony Martinez (1-0, 1 KO), as he
knocked out Brooklyn’s Leon Green (1-1) – a hand-picked protégé of Sugar Shane
Mosley’s – at 1:14 of Round 2. Green, who struggled to make the transition from
amateur to prizefighter in his professional debut in Tucson, last month, never
looked confident or strong. Anthony Martinez, conversely, appeared in every way
a veteran pugilist, dropping Green with a potent left hook that forced
Referee JayNady to end the contest before even starting a ten-count.
Good luck 2 U;
The NSAC is well known for not changing their offials decisions.
