Bruno making a come back!!

According to the Daily Mirror today Bruno is making a comeback at the age of 47.

Frank Bruno is in talks about a comeback fight against Audley Harrison. Bruno who was the WBC Heavyweight Champion and fought Mike Tyson Twice has admitted that he would relish the chance to fight the Olympic gold medalist.

At 47 Bruno is back in the gym and he hasn't lost the sculptured look he had in his hayday. Bruno told reporters that he is focussing on a fight later this year with Harrison, 'i'm back in the gym yes, I never really retired from boxing, I had a few problems in my life but that is all over now and i think i could handle the crop at the moment on a domestic front'. Going on Bruno hinted that a possible rematch with Tyson could also be on the cards. 'Tyson, I would love to fight him again, I have spoke to him recently at a show in Chicago and we got on great'.

Bruno has a meeting later this month with the British boxing board who are studying medical reports and will decide if Bruno is fit to fight again.

The British boxing board would not make a comment yesterday, they told our reporter that it was a personal matter and a statement would be released later this month.

There's been some great April Fools gags over the years on Boxrec, one that got everybody was last year with Audley being manouvered into a fight with Klitschko!

This one however, is one of the poorest.

Ironically, few years ago, this thing almost happened for real. When harrison was boasting "who should i fight next? frank bruno or herbie hide?" after beating an opponent, there was negotiations for Bruno to fight Harrison, but it didnt happen, as he went into an institution for a while after his divorce from his wife I believe; besides he had his retina detached in his last bout with Tyson...
