Thought I would ask seeing Green is now retired, Green has had success at LH, how would he go against Harding?
Would Green out box Harding or would harding put that much preasure on Green that he would win - remember Sullivan - he didnt win but he pushed Green all the way.
IMO - Harding to tough and determined and taking nothing away from Green I think Green takes the early rounds and Harding comes on after 5/6 rounds to close the gap and win a majority decision.\
Harding came from near where I live, but I think Green would be too skillful for him. In 1988 harding won a ten rounder against Apollo Sweet at Mounties. A lot of the old blokes at the club still thing Sweet won, even though Harding was the local man.
That would be an amazing fight. I think we have forgotten just how good Jeff was. KO power, slick boxer. I'm going to get splinters but I'll call it a draw.
Jeez ...Harding was such an in your face fighter and could take a lot of punishment which is a good asset if your fighting Green. If GREEN couldnt put him down inside 7 he would be a big chance. GREEN on points just.
harding ko's green. both press forward in a war. harding throws the shorter, harder blows. working body and head. jeffs jab dismantles greens confidence by 6. ko by 9.
