this fight occured in 1980, mike weaver v john tate undercard in knoxville, TN.

why is htis fight so rare and the weaver fight so available?

i love eddie, would like ot get this on tape or a better copy of his fight v renaldo snipes.

anyone have copies, or know of any sources?

I don't know about the tape... but I do remember Marvin Taking some pretty helllacious body punches in that fight...

I believe he was still known as Eddie Gregory Then In adddition Gregory-Johnson and Tate-Weaver-Sugar Ray Leonard , and Larry Holmes also fought that same night and it was all on free television... sigh
