Tye Fields - 14 in a row in 2000 and 4 in a row in 2001.

David Rodriguez - 7 in a row in 2003 (the last one?) and 4 in a row in 1998-2001.

John (J.D.) Chapman - 5 in a row in 2003

Mike Mollo - 4 in a row in 2001

Gurcharan Singh - 3 in a row in 2002

But the quality of their opposition was poor. Tyson did 6 in a row back in 1985 against far better boxers.
Good knowledge, Latuch. Do you what happened to those fighters at the end of their first round knockout sequences (i.e., as soon as they went past the first round)? I know Tyson kept on rolling through the opponents, of course.

I'm sure Tommy Morrison did between Bentt and Rudduck. I remember him fighting twice a month at one stage during that period - against absolute bums though.

I heard that David Rodrigues is awful. With hand-picked opponents it's not that hard to rack up a nice 1st round KO streak, Rich Melito, Don Steele, Peter McNeeley, etc

Cheers for that, Latuch. They're all heavyweights thankfully, a division unto itself. Other weights tend to have similar form lines - and two first round knockouts on the trot for a fighter usually precedes a rocky third fight, if not a defeat. On that premise, I have a feeling Enzo will be up against it on Saturday. I may be completely wrong of course.
Annoyingly, Delaney has only boxed once since losing to Sebastian Rothmann in 2002, a nothing six-rounder with Mark Bonson last September, which he nearly lost.
