Thaxton is not what he was but still has the desire to win. He will fight like a lion but I see a points win against him. Hope I am wrong though.

I think it'll be a very good fight. Sadly tomorrow's fight doesn't sound too hot does it?

If only ITV would replay of Romanov/Thaxton after Khans quick blowout of the hand-picked bum, followed by Rosenthal pressurising Warren for Khans next opponent in front of millions of people who've just seen Romanov for the first time!

That's be quality!!

(will never happen)

He's not that tall , he's probably had to dehydrate a bit to lose the last few pounds and he's a professional boxer with a lot of notice to get ready for this fight .

simple as that

Has to be Romanov for me, but I'm 100% sure Thaxton will give it 110%.

Looking at the undercard it appeared a bit uninspiring at first glance but there should be a few tasty clashes, namely:

Ruben Groenewald vs. Richard Horton Super-Middleweight
Gareth Couch vs. Tom Glover Lightweight
Jamie Spence vs. Lee Purdy Light-Welterweight

Romanov inside the distance I reckon. Thaxton looked really old last time out and by all accounts wasnt tto impressive vs Scott Lawton either. One thing I know for sure though - Thaxton will go out on his shield. :TU:

Someone to know if there will be live stream anywhere on the net? At Myp2p there isn't anything announced, which is rare case, cos every friday they catch something.

I wouldn't underestimate Thaxton in this fight - Romanov can have his off nights as we saw vs Earl. I know he was ring rusty, but he was piss poor in that fight.

If Romanov isn't on his A game tonight then Thaxton has a good shout.

yes, there is a chance that Romanov is overrated. He looked horrible vs Zoff as well. I just can't see Thaxton being able to outbox him for 12 rds, or to back him up either. Thaxton throws wide swings and I think that style is trouble when stepping above domestic level.
