Wing Championships

Just curious how in the world the AFA got their bouts televised, when the USA Championships and the Olympic Trials weren't. Although these guys put it all out there, this is not putting amateur boxing best foot forward. This was an inter class championship from one school. When TV time is so precious what Einstein figured that this is a good ratings bet over the Trails. I have to figure out how to get the gym championships on there.

To my knowledge, the Wing Open finals has been televised on some cable outlet since 2005. The 2007 US Nationals were televised on Altitude network, Denver based cable channel that is on Direct TV/Dish network.

Anybody know about 2008 Future Stars National Championships?

I long for the days amateur boxing was on espn2 or FOX Sports in the late 8Os/90s, and even going back further - on free television on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon!!!
